About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Overnight Driver to support an aerospace and defense location in Lima, Ohio. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Pay is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
CPR certification.
Alarm panel experience.
Access control or badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and taking part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about incidents, observations, and operational needs.
