About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Protection in Pensacola, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location supporting disaster response operations. You will conduct routine and random unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access, and support a secure environment. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly with personnel and visitors, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting security-related activity. The position is full time and pays $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location supporting disaster response operations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations and follow site reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
Support the orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and disaster-response materials while remaining aware of changing site conditions and operational needs.
