About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol in Dunkirk, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings. This part-time role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, reporting security-related concerns, and providing customer service. The position supports daily operations through teamwork, innovation, and integrity. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document actions taken.
Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
