About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer Foot Patrol at a residential location in Denver, Colorado, you will safeguard residents, visitors, staff, and property by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The position is full-time, with scheduled hours Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and Thursday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local laws and regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required under applicable state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff while following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation for security-related events.
