About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Bilingual Foot Patrol Security Officer in Pomona, California. In this unarmed role, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling a grocery retail location, maintaining a visible presence, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and communicate fluently in Spanish while supporting a welcoming environment. The position pays $19.00 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.
Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
