As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, report security-related concerns, and help promote a smooth, well-managed environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Perform screening activities for personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, access points, and perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity by monitoring screening areas, verifying credentials, and maintaining visible presence at assigned posts.
