About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Rialto, California, you will help safeguard a logistics and distribution location by screening personnel, visitors, and packages, monitoring access points, and reporting suspicious activity. The role involves providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping deter incidents. You will carry out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment and to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures, verify authorized access, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
Inspect packages, parcels, and other items entering or leaving the facility, and report discrepancies or prohibited items.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
