About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Waimanalo, Hawaii, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage location. You will screen individuals and monitor access points while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role involves professional communication with employees and visitors and delivering outstanding customer service. You will carry out security procedures and site-specific policies, respond to incidents, and conduct patrols of the location and perimeter.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage retail location.
Screen individuals entering the location in accordance with site procedures while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and customer activity; report suspicious activity, policy violations, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter, noting conditions that may require attention.
