GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Response Security Officer to join their team in South Austin, Texas. This role requires adaptability and the ability to transition between various security tasks, including customer service, patrols, and surveillance, depending on the day and any special events. Requirements

High school education or equivalent (GED)
Able to pass an extensive screening process
Able to pass a background test and drug screen
State security license or the ability to obtain one
CPR certification or the ability to obtain one
Driver's License
At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement
Proficiency with computers and smartphone technology

Responsibilities

Monitor the premises to ensure security
Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
Control access points and verify identities
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
Write detailed reports on events and incidents
Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Entry/Exit screening in the lobby and roving patrols
Monitor and manage the Security/Front Desk
Give directions to guests
Controlling access and ensuring only authorized personnel are given access to the site
Walking in and around the building, up and down stairs, and through parking lots
