About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Protection Patrol in Riverside, California, to support a government location. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on safeguarding clients, maintaining a visible security presence, deterring incidents, observing and reporting concerns, and providing professional service to visitors and staff. The stated schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services when needed.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify visitor access as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding agencies while following applicable post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
