About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Chino, California, you will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, and work collaboratively with integrity. The role is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
