About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol Asset Protection in San Bernardino, California, to support a government location. The officer will safeguard the facility and its visitors, employees, and members of the public by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to concerns, and providing professional customer service. The role follows site-specific procedures and security protocols. The position pays $21.49 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday and Thursday and Sunday, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government facility while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and emergency situations; notify appropriate personnel and public agency contacts as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and help direct individuals to appropriate offices or services.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activity, incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with site procedures.
