About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location in Oregon, Ohio, you will help safeguard the site and support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, a visible security presence, customer service, and communication. You will report security-related concerns, respond professionally to site needs, and represent Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork. This is a full-time overnight position scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.04 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access control points, visitor and contractor entry, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required logs and reports.
