About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver for overnight patrol work at a manufacturing and industrial location in Milan, Illinois. The unarmed officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $19.25 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 19 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor site access, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and document observations and actions taken.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity, and promptly report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
