About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in a healthcare location in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on monitoring assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing professional customer service and communication. The position is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or first responders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site policies, and assist with directions, escorts, and access-related inquiries as needed.
Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken.
Maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
