About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Walterboro, South Carolina. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, supporting access control and alarm response, and providing clear, courteous customer service. The position pays $19.20 per hour and is scheduled for daytime shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday and Thursday through Sunday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and directions.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
