About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for hospital morgue patrol in Las Vegas, Nevada. The officer will help safeguard a healthcare location by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and responding professionally to security-related needs. The position pays $18.00 per hour.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The role requires at least one year of security-related experience, at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field, and the ability to work in a hospital morgue. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions.
• Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site-specific reporting requirements.
