About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed driving security officer for an auction facility in San Antonio, Texas. The officer will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to alarms and access concerns, and providing customer service. The role uses technology to document activity and requires clear communication with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.

The position pays $15.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law; licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations.
• Document observations and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation.
• Maintain a professional, visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
