Security Officer - Auto Auction
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Dallas, Texas, to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing professional customer service to employees and visitors. The role includes responding to incidents, communicating observations, and documenting activity in support of site operations. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. The stated schedule is Monday 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Thursday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Sunday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Pay is $18.75 per hour.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of office areas, media and technology workspaces, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and facility concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
- Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
