About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol specialist in Dallas, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, support access control, assist customers and employees, and communicate professionally. You will document observations using computer or tablet tools. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
