About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Route Driver for a healthcare location in Somers Point, New Jersey. The officer will safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The scheduled shifts are Thursday and Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations; follow established protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with healthcare staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
