About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route in San Jose, California, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries as an unarmed patrol officer. You will conduct routine patrols at assigned locations, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide customer service and clear communication while working with a team that values integrity, care, agility, reliability, and innovation.

This is a full-time position paying $23.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Applicants must meet applicable age, education, licensing, background investigation, and drug-screening conditions. Licensing requirements may depend on state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
