About The Position

As a full-time unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location in Brockton, Massachusetts, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. The role involves routine patrols, a visible security presence, customer service, communication, and reliable reporting. The scheduled hours are 1:00 AM–9:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. The pay rate is $18.85 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
Have a valid driver's license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, access points, and perimeter; identify unusual activity and report observations.
Monitor access by verifying authorized entry, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing people to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate security concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
