About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for an educational location in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The role serves and safeguards the campus community by conducting foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in assigned areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through required channels.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
