About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Atlanta, Georgia, at a logistics and distribution location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees. The role includes following site-specific procedures, responding to incidents and access concerns, documenting observations, and reporting security-related issues.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, package or freight irregularities, and critical situations; document observations and communicate information to appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, docks, facility entrances, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access points and support visitor, driver, and contractor entry procedures according to site-specific requirements.
Report maintenance, lighting, access control, and other security-related concerns observed during patrols or while assigned to the location.
