As a Security Officer Lobby Reception Specialist in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out front desk procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and security-related screening practices.
  • Answer questions, give directions, manage visitor sign-in processes, and communicate with site contacts regarding appointments, deliveries, and/or access requests.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Monitor phones, alarms, cameras, and other front desk systems, reporting unusual activity and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
