Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk, following site-specific policies and security-related procedures for the location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a professional manner.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, manage visitor logs and/or sign-in processes, and communicate clearly with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and front desk activity.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Observe the front desk, entrance, and nearby public areas for suspicious or unusual behavior, and report concerns according to Allied Universal protocols and site procedures.
