As a Security Officer Desk Console in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, assist visitors, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, verifying visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a healthcare location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, answer questions, direct patients, visitors, and staff, and document security-related concerns in a clear and timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Support access control functions by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe cameras, alarms, and entry points from the front desk, report maintenance or security-related issues, and assist with emergency response activities as needed.
