Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify access permissions, issue visitor credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet arriving guests, maintain visitor logs, and support front desk administrative duties related to access control and security-related operations.
  • Observe cameras, alarms, and/or entry systems from the reception area, document routine and unusual events, and report concerns according to post instructions.
