Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk of a retail location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying credentials, logging arrivals and departures, and directing visitors to the appropriate destination.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support front desk operations by answering phones, managing visitor records, receiving deliveries, and reporting unusual activity that could help to deter unauthorized access or disruption.
  • Maintain awareness of lobby and entrance activity, follow post orders, and document security-related events, observations, and/or escalations in a timely manner.
