Security Officer II
About The Position
Provides a secure and safe environment for patients, visitors, physicians, personnel, and volunteers to deliver or receive quality services with minimal threats to personal well-being and property. Patrols and monitors facility premises, observes and reports suspicious or unauthorized activities and unsafe conditions, and manages access control, keys, emergency response, and notifications. Provides security-related assistance to staff, physicians, patients, and visitors, including monitoring and restraining violent patients. Investigates and documents facility-related incidents and serves as a liaison between facility staff and local law enforcement agencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Obtain a Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) certification within 30 days of the start date.
- One year of recent relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor facility premises.

- Respond to emergencies and make required notifications.
- Provide security-related assistance to staff, physicians, patients, and visitors.

- Liaise between facility staff and local law enforcement agencies.
