About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Identity Validation in Wyoming, Michigan, serving clients in industries including logistics and distribution. The role manages facility entry points, verifies credentials, monitors access activity, and helps maintain an orderly environment. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while maintaining a professional, visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Pay is $16.53 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities while providing customer service.
Monitor and control facility access, verify credentials, screen visitors, and direct drivers, vendors, and delivery personnel according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle-entry records; issue and recover access credentials as authorized.
Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, and promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
