About The Position

As a Security Officer in West Palm Beach, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution setting. You will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. A professional presence, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time position paying $15.68 per hour. The listed schedule is 12:00 AM–8:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific screening procedures and policies and carrying out appropriate emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and belongings in accordance with site procedures; verify identification and access authorization before entry.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, identify prohibited or unauthorized items, and report findings according to established procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate site contacts, and inform Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
