As a Security Officer Identity Check in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and packages, and support security-related procedures while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items at designated entry points in accordance with site protocols, and report screening concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and documenting visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalations involving prohibited items, access control issues, and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete routine logs and incident reports, maintain awareness of busy shipping and receiving areas, and support overall security-related operations throughout the location.
