As a Security Officer Driver Credential Check in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site access for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and operational spaces.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations, activities, and/or concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, docks, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and communicating security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support visitor management, key control, and/or vehicle screening activities while maintaining accurate logs, following post orders, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
