As a Security Officer Badge Check in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, assist visitors and staff, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and documenting activity in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions related to shipping, receiving, and trailer movement.
  • Maintain accurate logs for visitors, vendors, and/or inbound and outbound traffic, and report unusual activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to site leadership.
