As a Security Officer Badge Check Driver in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor activity, and support a professional, welcoming experience. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, trailer yards, docks, and other designated parts of the location.
  • Document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity, maintain accurate access logs, and communicate security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with traffic flow, directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas, and supporting site response protocols as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, parking areas, dock doors, and exterior access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
