Join Allied Universal at a premier residential location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post, where you will monitor entry points, verify visitors, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters to property management and/or local first responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around residential common areas, gate access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
