As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols at entry and exit points.
  • Monitor and control access to the location by checking identification, reviewing visitor and delivery information, issuing passes when appropriate, and documenting arrivals and departures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, loading areas, trailer yards, and other access-controlled points within the location.
  • Complete required logs and reports related to access activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent presence and observation.
