As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and help identify and report security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records; issue and collect badges, keys, and other authorized access items in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
