As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Westminster, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, or security-related concerns.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
