As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and help address security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access control activity, incidents, patrols, and communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
