About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Driver - Patrol Monitor for a technology-focused location in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, driving and conducting routine patrols, managing access control activities, and responding to alarm-related concerns. The officer provides customer service, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Mondays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at a rate of $21.20 per hour. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Alarm panel experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Monitor assigned areas, manage access control activities, and respond to alarm-related concerns.
