About The Position

The Security Officer - Site Patrol Monitor is an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and entertainment location in Gilbert, Arizona. The role provides security and customer service to guests, associates, and vendors, supports a welcoming environment, and helps deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. The position is part-time, with a schedule of Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM and Saturday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.30 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, associates, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters to site contacts or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, entrances, parking areas, business operations, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe guest activity for compliance with site policies.
Report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to established procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and responding authorities about incidents and daily activities.
