Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in support of security-related site rules.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, gates, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Support screening and checkpoint operations by inspecting authorized access requirements, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
