This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property, offices, amenities, and/or parking areas.
  • Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Assist with visitor registration, contractor check-in, delivery coordination, and maintenance of access logs and other security-related documentation according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
