About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Riverview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and document deliveries, contractors, and/or guests in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas and restricted access points, while observing for unusual activity and/or potential hazards common to an industrial environment.
• Support Allied Universal and location personnel by maintaining accurate logs, completing required reports, and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or emergency responders.
