As a Security Officer Entry Control in Doylestown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic financial institution location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and perform routine patrols that help support a secure and welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with entry screening and/or badge verification, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor entrances, credentials, badges, and/or visitor logs to help support authorized access and report unusual activity through established communication channels.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting access points, restricted areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Document daily activities, access-related events, and/or incidents with clear and timely reports for site leadership and Allied Universal management.
