Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support daily site operations through professional communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and restricted access points, with attention to location rules and changing conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious, unusual, and/or prohibited activity.
