About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Omaha, Nebraska, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. In this dispatch security role at a utility location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will help maintain situational awareness, document events, provide professional customer service, and partner with site personnel and responders.

The role includes carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time position paying $25.00 per hour. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents.
• Maintain situational awareness, document events, and partner with site personnel and responders.
